Ukrtransnafta, Lotos sign protocol to pump oil through Odessa-Brody pipe

Ukrtransnafta, the operator of Ukraine's oil pipelines, and the Lotos group of companies (Poland, the owner of Gdansk Oil Refinery) signed a protocol of intent on Tuesday to pump oil through the Odessa-Brody pipeline.

Ukrtransnafta CEO Alexander Todiichuk said at a Ukrainian-Polish business forum in Odessa that agreement has been reached to transport from 1.5 million to 3 million tonnes of oil per annum through this pipeline, and also through the Polish section of the pipeline, to Plotsk.

Todiichuk also said that preparations are being completed for the signing of a protocol of intent for the use of the Odessa-Brody pipeline with another Polish company also - Orlen to transport 4 million tonnes of oil through the pipeline per annum.
