Ukrtransnafta oil transportation down 29.3% in first 10 months
Oil transportation by Ukrtransnafta in January-October fell 29.3% year-on-year to amount to 39.2 million tonnes.
According to information from the Ukrainian Fuel and Energy Ministry, oil exports to Western Europe fell 50% to 22.27 million tonnes, with internal transportation up 50% to 16.934 million tonnes.
Consequently, transit accounted for 56.8% of the total volume transported.
The Ukrtransnafta subsidiary Druzhba Trunk Pipelines increased oil transportation 2% year-on-year to reach 15 million tonnes in the first 10 months. Exports by the company fell 3% to 13.278 million tonnes, with domestic transportation up 70% to 1.73 million tonnes.
Transportation by the subsidiary Pridneprovsky Trunk Pipelines fell 40.6% to 24.195 million tonnes, with exports down 70% to 8.992 million tonnes and transportation to Ukrainian oil refineries up 40% to 15.2 million tonnes.
The official exchange rate on November 20 was 5.3304 hryvna to the dollar.
