TNK Ukraine Announced Tender For Oil Transportation In September
TNK Ukraine company, which owns Lisichansk
petroleum refinery (LiNOS), announced tender to select a company which would
supply services on railroad oil transportation in September, press service of
TNK Ukraine informed.
Particularly, the winner company would have to transport oil from Krotovka
station (Russia) to Odessa-Peresyp station (Ukraine).
Under the conditions of the tender, the bidder must be experienced in
transportation of liquid oil products.
The tender takes place on September 18.
As Ukrainian News has reported, in 2001 the Lisichansk refinery increased oil
processing by 106.3% compared with 2000, to 4,998,600 tons.
Te plant accounted for 32.5%of the total volume of refined oil in 2001.

Neftegaz Ukrainy Seeks Loans For Settlement Of Debts To Budget
The State-owned company Neftegaz Ukrainy has
taken loans for settling its debts on payments to the budget, which arose as a
result of non-payments by energy generating companies of their debts to the
company for the gas it had supplied to them.
The Press service of Neftegaz Ukrainy disclosed this.
“The breaching of obligations by energy generating companies on their
timely payment of supplied gas forces the company with the aim of carrying out
budget payments to seek loans,” it is mentioned in the company’s statement.
Based upon the press statement, as of 1 September, debts owed by energy
generating companies to Neftegaz Ukrainy for supplied gas comprises UAH 194
million.
As Ukrainian News has reported, the Cabinet of Minister previously charged
Neftegaz Ukrainy with the task of carrying out inventory of debts owed by heat
generating companies for its supplied to them of gas in 1995-1998, which they
have not yet paid for.
Neftegaz Ukrainy sells the bulk of its gas to the public, budgetary
organizations and communal heating facilities.
The general debts of gas consumers owed to Neftegaz Ukrainy as of 1 September
comprise UAH 5.01 billion.
In 2001, consumers paid to Neftegaz Ukrainy 89.4% for supplied gas, which is
12.7 percentage points more than in 2000.
