The company BDO Balance Audit (Ukraine) is considered the winner of the tender on carrying out of the third stage audit of the NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine” at the session of July 15. Four known auditor companies took part in the tender, including Deloitte and Touche, KPMG and Ernst & Young.

The contract with the winner of the tender will be signed up to the end of July. The ultimate goal of the Company’s third stage audit is check and analysis of the consolidated financial accounts of the Company for 2001.

Balances’ audit of the three subsidiary companies of the NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine” – SC “Ukrtransgaz”, SC “Ukrgasproduction” and SC “Gas of Ukraine” for 2000 was carried out at the previous stages. The third stage provides for audit of the financial accounts of these and three more companies - OJSC “Ukrnafta”, OJSC “Ukrtransnafta” and SJSC “Chornomornaftogaz”, that are part of the NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine”

Note: the Company’s audit is carried out according to the requirements of IMF and World Bank. This is a condition for granting of credit line of EFF and PSP to Ukraine.
