World Bank urges Ukraine to ensure transparence at Naftogaz

Ensuring transparency of the management and financial systems of the Ukrainian Naftogaz oil company, as well as restructuring of the debt in the energy sector, will boost Ukraine's ties with the World Bank, the Economics and European Integration Ministry noted in a statement.

Furthermore, World Bank Vice President Johannes Linn, the World Bank Director for Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova Luca Barbone and Economics and European Integration Minister Valeriy Khoroshkovskyy discussed the unified land cadastre and reviving the Oschadbank.

Other priorities include invalidation of tax breaks and benefits for certain professional categories, as well as assistance to the poor, the statement reads.
